The tanalised softwood brown sleepers are becoming increasingly popular. These sleepers are ideal for raised beds and for children's play areas. These sleepers are straight cut which means that they look extremely tidy and due to the colour of these sleepers they fit in with the landscape perfectly. Due to the wood not being as dense, it is treated with a coloured preservative to lengthen its lifespan. They are also much easier to handle being around 55kg lighter than the new oak equivalents.
